Mission Statement
The mission of the Edgewater Development Corporation is to improve the quality of life for all community residents by maintaining and enhancing Edgewater's commercial assets.
The primary strategies by which EDC accomplishes this mission are:
- Serving as a catalyst, partner and coordinator for new commercial development
- Developing strategic plans for the long-term development of Edgewater's commercial arteries, as well as individual plans which identify immediate commercial development opportunities.
- Conducting an active commercial marketing and business recruitment program.
- Ensuring the viability of the community's commercial areas through the ongoing identification of infrastructure, parking, transportation, zoning, capital and physical needs.
